Malin & Anders: A Charming Sørlandet Wedding
When you get an email from the nicest couple in the world from Southern Norway, and they mention old wooden boats, vintage cars, and a party in a tent, I was immediately sold.
But actually meeting them and spending the day with them—what wonderfully kind, warm, generous, inclusive, and fun people they are. (Even outside of my inbox!)
How LUCKY am I to be contacted by such thoroughly wonderful people.
Flere ganger i min karriere har jeg fått være med til eldrehjem, eller inn i stuene til besteforeldre som er for dårlige til å delta i bryllupet. Å se reaksjonen til Malins bestefar som satt uvitende på terrassen var skikkelig rørende. Jeg føler alltid på en intimitet inn i slike situasjoner, og jeg føler meg ydmyk over at jeg får være der og forevige de korte, men så utrolig verdifulle øyeblikkene. Om du ikke tar deg tid til å se alle bildene - sørg for å få med deg bestefar-bildene etter båtturen <3
This wedding really had it all. A charming Southern Norwegian idyll far out on the coast at Lista, touching moments, delicious food, and a fantastic party atmosphere. The bride even went so far as to sing her speech at the top of her lungs, causing fits of laughter throughout the venue.
I’ve learned that it can be overwhelming to scroll through way too many photos in a blog post, so I’ve tried to pare it down—but it certainly wasn’t easy.
