NEW: LIBERATING SESSIONS
For a long time, I’ve wanted to portray women—to tell their stories and struggles without words. Vulnerable, exposed, powerful, and beautiful. A kind of tribute and honor to all the inner battles fought and tears shed. But also a wish that we women will embrace and become more comfortable and free in our own bodies and souls, whether they bear scars and quirks or not.
Most of us can probably relate to that little voice in the back of our minds that gnaws at us with all kinds of insecurities. It’s often easy to see the beauty in others, but when it comes to our own appearance, we can be pretty ruthless. (Myself included!) For me personally, it was unthinkable to see myself in boudoir-style photo shoots. I thought it wasn’t for someone like me who gave birth to three children in 2.5 years and has a belly marked with stretch marks. It wasn’t until I saw a British photographer who had done a boudoir session with a more artistic approach that I caught myself seeing the beauty in the stretch marks the woman had. That started a process within me of accepting and becoming comfortable with the stretch marks I carry myself. Now I even think there’s something beautiful about them—they dance across my belly like a memory of when I carried three little ones inside me.
I so dearly want to be able to give some of that same feeling to all of you out there. My goal is for us to feel more happy with ourselves and for this shoot to feel like so much more than just a photo shoot. I believe that good photos can be part of a process of learning to like yourself better, and that the whole experience will be a journey and a way to challenge yourself. My intention isn’t primarily for you to end up with classic boudoir photos, or to feel sexy and sensual, but I do believe that feeling naturally creeps in as a lovely byproduct if you’re comfortable in your own skin. But what I want most of all is for you to feel freer, more beautiful, and stronger when you walk out the door after your session with me, and for the photos and album we create to help you see yourself in a slightly new light. That’s why I’ve chosen to call this experience the LIBERATING SESSION.
I’ll open the doors to my charming, rustic studio in Storhaug, Stavanger, and we’ll set aside as much time as we need to create a safe atmosphere and connection. The music will play, we’ll chat, get to know each other, and create something beautiful together. You’ll get something nice to drink and some snacks, and I hope you’ll be able to relax, feel free, and trust me—all while setting the boundaries you need to feel taken care of. I truly believe that this experience and these photos can be part of a process of learning to love yourself more, and I wish that for everyone.
Photos like these are too important to just sit as files on a hard drive, which is why an album is part of the experience.
Everyone who books a LIBERATING SESSION with me between May and September 2024 will receive the KICKOFF PRICE of 10,000.
This offer includes the photo shoot and a beautiful, high-quality 20 x 20 album from QT Albums. Digital files can, of course, be purchased from the gallery afterward.
After September 2024, the price will increase to 15,000,-
I know it takes a little extra effort to book a photo session like this, but I’m looking forward to hearing from you brave, strong, powerful women out there. The thought of potentially helping to lift up those of you who are feeling a little down these days, as well as boosting the confidence of those who already feel good about themselves—that makes me feel like my work is truly meaningful.
Take a look at some of the portraits I've done, and feel free to contact me if you have any questions. I'm just a quick contact form away :)
(And for those of you who are wondering—you don't have to be naked. You set your own boundaries. I just hope you'll feel like you're challenging yourself, LET IT GO, and experience the freedom that comes with it.)
