Elopement Photographer in Norway & Europe
For couples dreaming of a quiet, intimate way to say yes.
Photography with presence and care
For couples dreaming of eloping in Norway or Europe, away from the noise and the expectations.
This is for you if you want something intimate, slow, and meaningful. Where your connection is what matters, and nature holds you gently.
Whether you want to exchange vows on a mountain ridge, beside a fjord, in Lofoten, on Senja, or somewhere out in the wide quiet of Andøya, I'm here to guide and document your story with warmth and honesty.
We’ll meet at your dream location in Norway or Europe, and I’ll document your ceremony and couples portraits with calm guidance and a gentle, observant eye.
Many of the couples who elope in Norway come from outside the country, and I want you to feel included, all of you who dream of eloping here, in the quiet and wild landscapes of the north.
Elopements hold a very special place in my heart. Just the two of you, somewhere beautiful, with nowhere else to be. That's what I love about them. For me, photographing an elopement isn't about producing images; it's about holding those moments with care.
I'm an adventurer at heart. I feel most alive moving through mountains, along fjords, into places where the world feels wide and still. Norway's landscapes aren't just a backdrop to me; they make me feel alive, and I approach them with real love and respect.
When you invite me to document your elopement, I come not just as a photographer, but as a calm, warm, and supportive presence. Someone who will guide you gently, give you a hug when you need one, and step back when the moment asks for quiet.
If the way I see and work resonates with you, I'd love to hear your story.

WHAT PEOPLE SAY
Emily & Adam
“We could not have imagined a more passionate, hardworking, or selfless photographer than Lillian. She went above and beyond to ensure every need and wish was met for our dream elopement in Lofoten. From doing last-minute location scouting before our ceremony when the weather changed for the worse, from asking a closed café to let us use their restroom, to hiking up a mountain through deep mud puddles and running water, Lillian made our elopement better than anything we could have imagined. By capturing our adventures in Hamnøy, Henningsvær, and on Mt. Volandstinden, Lillian combined Norway’s epic landscapes and local culture into an unforgettable, awe-inspiring collection of timeless photos.
We also had the privilege of travelling to Loen with Lillian for more elopement photography, which was another incredible experience. From joining some friendly cattle at Lovatnet’s shoreline to overlooking Innvikfjorden at the top of Mt. Hoven, Lillian let us discover some of the best that Southern Norway had to offer.
Anyone can take photos, but capturing genuine emotions like love, vulnerability, and connection is an art, especially with more reserved and quiet couples like us. From the moment Lillian stepped behind the camera, her calming presence, warmth, and encouragement helped us be ourselves. She didn’t just photograph our elopement; she transformed moments into magic. The love and happiness she captured are impossible to fully express, and we will cherish the ability to remember them for a lifetime!
We never expected our elopement photographer to become a cherished friend, yet getting to know Lillian became one of the most beautiful parts of our journey. Half the joy of our elopement came not only from the moments she captured but also from the connection we shared along the way.
If you are considering Lillian for your wedding or elopement, look no further! Her care, artistry, and presence extend far beyond photography, and we could not be more grateful for our experience. For those dreaming of eloping in Lofoten or Loen: when love feels too vast for words, let the wild beauty of the landscape speak on your behalf.”

“During our search for a photographer for our wedding day in Norway, it was clear right from the start. Lillian's enthusiasm and motivation stood out immediately - this is someone we would love to go up that mountain with!
On the day itself, that feeling was fully confirmed.
Lillian was a huge addition to our special day. With her cheerfulness and energy, she walked with us to Trolltunga and helped us truly pause and appreciate the moment along the way.
What we appreciated so much is that not only the destination, but especially the journey there, was beautifully captured. The photos reflect exactly how we experienced that day.”

An elopement is an intimate wedding, just the two of you, or with a very small group of people you love, in a place that feels meaningful to you. No big guest lists, no formal traditions unless you want them. Just your relationship, a beautiful location, and the freedom to do it your way.

Planning an elopement in Norway as a non-Norwegian couple starts with sorting two things: the legal side and the experience itself.
For the legal part, most international couples handle the marriage paperwork in their home country and hold a symbolic ceremony in Norway, which is the simplest approach.
For the experience, that's where I come in. We'll connect over a video call, talk through locations, timing, and what matters most to you, and I'll put together a plan that fits. Norway is my backyard and I know it well, so you don't need to figure it out alone!
-
Yes, and honestly this is one of my favourite parts. I know locations all across Norway, from the fjords of Aurland and Isfjorden to the dramatic coastline of Andøya, the mountains of Trolltunga, and the wild islands of Lofoten and Senja.
I'll help find somewhere that fits your style, your fitness level, and the kind of day you're imagining. If you already have a dream location in mind, great. If not, we'll find it together.
-
Yes, I handle the full day plan once we know what you want. I'll put together a timeline that works with the light, the location, and the flow of your day. Nature in Norway doesn't always cooperate, so we stay flexible, but having a clear plan means you arrive calm and ready. I can also help with accommodation, local restaurants, and tips for making the most of your time in Norway.

Eloping in Norway can be legally binding, but the process depends on your nationality and home country.
To legally marry in Norway, you need to apply through Statsforvalteren (the Norwegian government) in advance, which involves submitting documents from your home country.
Because of this, many international couples choose to handle the legal marriage at home and hold a symbolic ceremony in Norway instead. This is a very common and beautiful approach, and it's what most of my couples do. I can guide you through both options.
-
You only need a certified officiant if you want a legally binding ceremony in Norway. If you're handling the legal side at home and having a symbolic ceremony here, you don't need one officially, but a celebrant can make the ceremony feel much more meaningful.
My partner offers symbolic ceremonies as an add-on: he leads you through something personal and thoughtfully written while I quietly document every moment.
-
Yes, and I love it when couples want to. Many of Norway's most beautiful elopement locations, including Trolltunga, require a hike to reach, and that journey can become a real part of your day.
We'll plan gear, pacing, and timing together so it feels safe and manageable, not stressful. And if hiking isn't something you want, there are equally beautiful spots that don't require it at all.
-
I recommend a minimum of 3 hours, but the right amount depends on what your day looks like. If we're hiking to a location, visiting multiple spots, or wanting time for portraits as well as a ceremony, a full day gives you the most freedom.
If you want something shorter and more focused, the Mini Elopement package works well. We'll figure out what fits when we talk through your plans.

Every season in Norway offers something different:
Summer (June to August): the most reliable weather and very long daylight hours, sometimes light almost all night. Great for first-time visitors to Norway.
Autumn (September to October): dramatic colours, softer light, and fewer crowds. One of the most beautiful times to be here.
Winter (November to March): snow-covered landscapes and the chance of seeing the northern lights. More weather-dependent, but unforgettable when it works.
Spring (April to May): fresh and wild, with waterfalls running full and the landscape coming back to life.
There's no wrong time to elope in Norway. Just different moods! We'll figure out what fits your vision.

Practical layers are essential in Norway, where the weather can change quickly, especially in the mountains. Good waterproof footwear, wind and rain-proof outer layers, and warm mid-layers are the basics.
On top of that, wear something that feels like you. Many couples bring something a little more special to change into once we reach the views. We'll talk through what makes sense for your specific location and time of year.
-
Yes, absolutely. An elopement doesn't have to mean just the two of you, though it can. Some couples bring a handful of close family, some bring a small group of friends, and some keep it completely private. All of these are equally valid and beautiful. It's your day and your choice.
